An eventual full-scale rebellion by the Afghan people managed to overthrow the vicious dictators, reclaiming their nation and holding their first democratic election in several years. However, the country has been retaken by the terrorist factions in 2021, forcing some millions out of the country. The capital is Kabul and has a population of about 30 million people.
