The SCUD Storm was a weapon of mass destruction owned by the Brotherhood of Nod. This weapon was designed to hold eight nuclear missiles and fire them all at once at a single or sometimes multiple targets. The Brotherhood used these rarely, usually relying on hidden nuclear silos and missiles launched from their Temples. The use of a SCUD Storm was thought to be for when the Brotherhoods plans were in extreme peril.
Despite being a part of the Brotherhood of Nod's arsenal, the SCUD Storm never saw successful deployment. Technological problems and long loading and firing times usually resulted in the facility being destroyed by hostile forces before it could deploy, as the end result of one activating properly could've caused catastrophic damage to the planet. As a result, none survived the Tiberium Era.
